  • Unsupervised!

So this is what happens when you are teaching 4 interns how to make homemade pizza and you aren’t watching your two and a half year old……..

Andrew got a hold of a tube of diaper cream and proceeded to scrub it all over his face, arms, bed, and toys!  At school they lotion them so he’s all about lotion these days.  I even caught him pretending to lotion Piper the other day too!

Heading for the tub.  Let’s just say, diaper cream is not quite easy to get off.  You see it’s a barrier so you really have to work at it.  He smeared it all into his mattress too (I was washing the sheets) so that was fun to get off.

All we could do was laugh and say our standard…….”Oh Andrew…….”

  • Ha! I think this is bound to happen to all of us with small kids at some point!  All you can do is laugh, right?!

Natalie did this about a year ago (at 2 1/2 yrs old) with her “play” makeup – it was an old brush I had given her along with a small tube of lipgloss. Well, she had been quiet for a LOOOONG time, and we found her sitting on the couch, squirting lipgloss onto her arms and legs, and “painting” herself with the makeup brush!  Now, that lipgloss was NASTY stuff to get off, too!  It had lots of silicone in it, and when Dan dumped Natalie in the tub, he scrubbed and scrubbed and STILL couldn’t get it all off!  Never mind the couch cushions!!!  Why can’t they play with, oh, say, washable markers or something like that! ha!

  • oh wow that is a LOT of diaper creme!

  • What will he do next? LOL
